Our radio show “Journeys with Christ” seeks to share how our Lord is touching and influencing the lives of His children in the world today. Our belief is that God is as alive today as He was 2,000 years ago and He still speaks and calls His obedient followers to action.

“Journeys with Christ” began with a call on one person’s life. Carldon Lahey felt called to originate a radio show as a ministry of Christ’s Starfish Foundation. He had no previous radio experience and had no desire to host a radio show. It was truly a “God-thing” that led to the beginning of the show.
Carldon had a chance meeting with Jim Collins from 550 AM radio station at Ft. Caroline Baptist Church’s fall festival in October 2008. Christ’s Starfish had a booth at the festival and was set up across from 550 AM’s booth. Christ’s Starfish Foundation was planning to host a saxophone concert the following Thursday at a local Chick-fil-A restaurant to benefit a young spina bifida patient. Carldon went over and ask Jim if he would mention the benefit on his radio station. Jim invited Carldon to come out to the station and do the announcement himself. He agreed and a by-product of this meeting was the radio show “Journeys with Christ”. The premier show aired the first Saturday in April of 2009 at 11:00 PM. The show moved to its’ current time slot on Saturday mornings at 9:30 in August 2009.
Our goal is to share the love of Christ through this ministry as long as our Lord allows. Please join us each Saturday for a time of inspiration, enlightenment and joy as you hear stories of how our Lord is working in our world today. See you then.
